Public benefits
The Ronnie McMullan Trust was set up in memory of a former past President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland, and because Ronnie McMullan was also a passionate educator, the remit of the fund is to encourage and advance education of student or trainee pharmacists, by the provision of scholarships bursaries and maintenance allowance.
To such persons to enable them for the public benefit to advance their study and knowledge of pharmacy by attendance at relevant conferences and learning events as determined by the Trustees from time to time, or by such other means as the Trustees may from time to time decide. Provided always that no portion of the Trust Fund, after the payment of any expenses of administration, shall be applied either directly or indirectly for any object or purpose which is not Charitable
What your organisation does
Every year, the pre-registration student that receives the highest mark in the registration exam are awarded a trip to the Annual All Ireland Pharmacy Conference, including travel, accommodation and registration costs.

Charitable purposes
The Trust is established to be an educational trust to promote and advance by charitable means only the education of student or trainee pharmacists, by the provision of scholarships bursaries and maintenance allowances to such persons to enable them for the public benefit to advance their study and knowledge of pharmacy by attendance at relevant conferences and learning events as determined by the Trustees from time to time, or by such other means as the Trustees may from time to time decide PROVIDED ALWAYS that no portion of the Trust Fund, after payment of any expenses of administration, shall be applied either directly or indirectly for any object or purpose which is not Charitable.
