Through the advancement of education and facilities, the direct benefit is to promote new skills, build confidence and improve knowledge and understanding enabling people to better play their part in the community.Through the promotion of sport a recreation the committee aims to improve people's skills enabling them to build confidence and improve

health and wellbeing.By improving the quality of life for the most marginalised we will combat social isolation and exclusion.By improving conditions of life for inhabitants and through providing facilities in the interests of social welfare we will address social isolation, improve health and wellbeing and provide relief of poverty.These benefits are evidenced by feedback from participants and through monitoring and evaluation of the services provided.There is no harm flowing from these activities.The beneficiaries are the inhabitants of the area of the Camowen and surrounding community.Private benefit is incidental in that in the course of events and programmes participants may learn transferable skills.There is no membership charge and fees charged are minimal and only to cover costs.

What your organisation does

Camowen Outreach enhances the lives of people living in the Camowen district on the outskirts of Omagh through social, economic and educational activities. The group arranges activities and events for people of all ages from children to the elderly. The committee members are all volunteers.

Charitable purposes

Camowen Outreach is established to enhance the quality of life within the Camowen and surrounding community, without distinction of age, gender, sexuality, nationality, ethnic origin, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants; and in particular - maintain and manage, or to co-operate with any local statutory authority in the maintenance or management of such a Centre for activities promoted by Camowen Outreach and its constituent bodies in furtherance of the above objects.
