What your organisation does

Provides a forum and a meeting place/ discussion area where concerns of the inhabitants can be brought into the openly and discussed in a formal/informal manner. These concerns can then be channelled in the correct direction to the appropriate agencies for their perusal. The group gives confidence to ordinary people to meet with

agencies and express their opinions and have a sense of ownership and pride in the area where they live. Provides confidence building so that inhabitants feel they can bring forward worries and concerns and not let these such concerns/worries remain unaired.
