Public benefits

The direct benefits which flow from our purposes include good gardening and horticulture practice encouraged and increased by the provision of suitable speakers and visits to gardens to increase interest and share knowledge of gardening and horticulture. This benefit will be demonstrated by feedback from members and a register of attendance at

meetings. There will be no harm. The beneficiaries will be those of all abilities from Maghera and surrounding districts who attend meetings, events and outings. They will learn more of good practice in horticulture and gardening. There is no private benefit for Trustees and volunteers. Any benefit they will gain is from experience and knowledge through meetings and outings and is incidental.
