This is demonstrated through having an active PTSG that works in partnership with the school and engages parental support. This purpose does not lead to harm. The
benefit is for the children at Tempo Primary School. Charity trustees (PTSG committee members) are usually also parents at the school which their child attends and hence gain benefit in the same way as all other benificiaries. What your organisation does
Tempo Primary School PTSG are an active organisation made up of parents and teachers at the school, although we also welcome grandparents, past pupils and anyone else with links to the school who wish to assist in the aims of the organisation. We organise events for the children of the school and events to raise money to enhance the childrens
school experience. We regularly volunteer our time for school based activities and excursions which the organisation frequently subsidises financially. We organise several fundraising events during the school year, including cake decorating demos, 5-a-side football tournaments, fundays/ fetes and Christmas sales to name a few. In recent years we have purchased 5 new computers, interactive whiteboards for all classrooms, playground equipment and enhanced learning materials. We regularly liase with teaching and non teaching staff in order to best utilise the funds raised.
