Encourage participation in Taekwondo by providing access to a safe environment for all residents of the Mid & East Antrim Borough regardless of age, gender, race, political, religious or other opinion. The Association will assist members to improve their standards in the sport as well as improving member’s physical well-being. The public benefit
which flows from this purpose is that inhabitants of Mid & East Antrim Borough have access to a safe and professional environment to participate in the sport of Taekwondo. Beneficiaries will also have the opportunity to compete competitively. This benefit will be evidenced by participant feedback and the recording of the number of people participating in the activities. The beneficiaries of the services offered are the inhabitants of Mid & East Antrim Borough. This purpose does not lead to harm. A private benefit is that the Trustees may gain training which may be of use in other areas of their life; however this benefit is incidental and necessary in order to offer the best service we can. Another private benefit is that a member of the Trustee’s family may access the services offered, however treated the same as any other person wishing to access the service. This benefit is incidental and necessary so the beneficiaries can access our services.
What your organisation does
Chung Do Kwan NI was formed in 2003 and is dedicated to the teaching and practice of Tae Kwon Do. The Club also promotes the importance of exercise and general welling in both children and adults. The Club's aim is to keep the traditions of Tae Kwon Do as a Martial Art alive but also includes competition training and fitness workouts in its
curriculum. The Club will achieve this through advancing amateur sport of Tae Kwon Do. This combination provides students and the public with classes and programmes that are both varied and enjoyable. As the Club grows, it will develop to provide leisure for the interests of social welfare, through improving the health by involving physical and mental skill and exertion.
