Advancement in education for the Community of Caddy and District and their environment. The benefit which flows from this purpose includes seeking funding for the provision for the running and upkeep of the hall and resources and courses delivered from it to reach out the community inhabitants and build essential links. This is demonstrated through

having the availability of community space and an active community development group that works in partnership with the community and sub groups who use the hall as their base. The public benefit will be enhanced knowledge and understanding to all in the area through receiving an education and learning in a range of activities from community, cultural to sporting, environmental issues, suicide and drug awareness, youth and enhancement of the young community inhabitants. The benefits are demonstrated through the results achieved, regular feedback from those and evaluation of the services provided within the hall. This purpose does not lead to harm. The benefit is for the community of Caddy & District and its environs, specifically those who have or will attend the courses on offer and use the hall and its facilities for a wide range of community activities. To provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for the protection of health and recreation. The benefit which flows from this purpose includes improvement in conditions for the life of the inhabitants, to improve health and well-being. The purpose which flows includes increased participation, in activities and events to ensure the attainment of the community to increase their skill, enjoyment and social interaction, improvement in mental and physical health. This is demonstrated through having access to the hall, resources, equipment which would not otherwise be available and the provision of events ensure links with the local community. The purpose will not lead to harm. This is demonstrated through having a facility and an active community development group that works in partnership with the community and the sub groups. The benefit is for the community of Caddy & District and their environment, the benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to all beneficiaries.

What your organisation does

Caddy and District Community Group is made up of residents in the community. The base for the group is Caddy Hall, Randalstown. All residents are encouraged to become actively involved, to assist running a calendar of events and initiatives e.g. Suicide Prevention, Drug Awareness sessions, events including dramas, music, fun days, communication

and committee skills, historical awareness. rural arts and crafts, cultural music and learning, exhibitions, and supply the volunteer manpower which is required. As a committee we always evaluate and monitor events or initiatives which we run to ensure that they are as successful as possible and to gauge the opinion of the community and to keep them actively informed.

Caddy & District Community Group is established to relieve poverty, sickness and to promote any Charitable Purposes for the benefit of the Community of Caddy and District and the environment in which they live (hereinafter called the ‘area of benefit’) without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion, by associating with Statutory Authorities, Voluntary organisations and the Community in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for the protection of health and for recreation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said Community.
