What your organisation does

These benefits are demonstrated through planned and structured sessions from 9am to 12pm each weekday within the playgroup, which target each child's educational and developmental needs. The benefits are also demonstrated through term time parent reports (settling in, mid term and transition reports) for each child detailing their progress within

the 6 areas of learning (Personal/ Social and Emotional, Physical, Language, the Arts and Science and Technology), identifying individual areas of need and suggesting ways to meet this need. The benefits are also demonstrated through regular visits and inspections from Early Years, Social Services and the ETI SELB inspections. Eased transition into Primary School education is also demonstrated through compilation of photographic transition story book of the local primary school and regular liaison and visits from the local primary schools that the beneficiaries will attend. These benefits are demonstrated through the playgroup's participation in the Healthy Breaks Scheme as well as daily Physical Education time and activities based around healthy eating, balanced diet, world foods and food preparation. Activities are devised to assess and improve each child's social, developmental and emotional needs, which is reported back to and discussed with parents through the term time reports with suggested plans of actions to preserve and improve each child's identified health needs.
