The advancement of citizenship or community development. The main aim of Millisle Youth Forum is to engender a community spirit crossing all age groups, social and economic backgrounds, cultural and religious difference by promoting the benefits of inclusivity and harmony within the area of benefit. While the organisation’s focus is on young

people it is about identifying good practice within communities and wider society which will reduce rural isolation, improve individual and community confidence, and improve physical and mental wellbeing to help relationships within our village and beyond. The advancement of education. Millisle Youth Forum is dedicated to providing opportunities to improve the educational standing of the people residing in the area of benefit. The aim is to increase educational attainment, skills, knowledge, competencies, confidence and capability which will enable beneficiaries to become proactive in securing job opportunities and improving health and well being. Through the provision of essential skills training and vocational training, coupled with qualifications, the members, their families and the wider community will have greater self awareness and greater understanding of how to attain their goals. The advancement of health or the saving of lives. Millisle Youth Forum will provide help and support, information and sign posting for those who are at risk of harm due to misuse of alcohol and or drugs, relationship and family breakdown, abuse, suicide, self harm and mental health problems. The aim is to provide as much education and information as possible in an age appropriate manner to increase self esteem and build confidence through maximising the use of recognised statutory agencies and trained volunteers. Other charitable purposes The area of benefit is high on the scale of social deprivation and the aim of Millisle Youth Form is to provide access to services to enable improvements in social welfare, reduce the perception of hardship and to encompass social inclusion. There is no harm flowing from the purposes and no private benefit. The beneficiaries are the inhabitants of, and visitors to, Millisle and the surrounding area.

What your organisation does

Millisle Youth Forum leased and operated "The Garage", a multi-purpose community building located on the edge of Millisle up to December 2019.
