What your organisation does
Trillick Arts & Cultural Society presently have a drama group of 15 members from which we formed the mummers. We go out to various events in the local area and perform our mummers play, usually on a Seasonal basis. This is broadly a comic performance involving a battle between two or more characters, perhaps representing good against evil. The
performers are in disguise and are introduced through rhyme and music. We intend to form a concert band made up off the under 18 age group that can represent our organisation and also perform at our events in the parish and beyond. We are also working on a detailed geographical history of our town lands and areas of historical interest in the locality.
