community who needs to understand where they can get help from can talk to the committee and be directed to a service which is appropriate for them. There will also be educated talks around the local area to provide information to the public on mental health issues and how to spot them in other people. The public will eventually be able to benefit directly from You Are Not Alone. Through fundraising and training a drop in centre can be opened in Kilkeel with a qualified counsellor. Anyone from the community will be able to get help directly through here. The indirect benefits will be demonstrated throughout the year with talks in the local area and the committee will be at local events to hand out information on charities who can help the public directly like Lifeline. All members who can, will be trained in living works courses. From here contact numbers will be available to the public so anyone who needs help but unsure were to get it can contact the committee directly for help. Eventually the direct benefits will be demonstrated with a place where people can visit to receive help. The organisation will be beneficial to the local community and it will be a free service.
