The purpose of the group is to provide a weekly meeting place for parents/carers and pre-school children, offering appropriate play facilities and providing fun activities for the children. The public benefit flowing from the purpose is that parents and toddlers from Magherafelt and district have a place to meet. Children have an opportunity to

mix, play and develop skills and begin to understand social and life skills and creative activity. Parents/Carers also get to meet, discuss problems and generally socialise. The group is all inclusive, so children and parents/carers from all religions and ethnic minority backgrounds have an opportunity to meet, make new friends and learn both the local language and local culture.
