Public benefits
The direct benefits that flow from the organisation's aims and activities are that it provides facilities that allow the local community to partake in healthy recreation which improves their health and wellbeing. In addition to this it helps bring the community together after years of difficulties. These benefits are demonstrated as health care
professionals always recommend that people should exercise regularly to achieve better health. We also know that groups across the Community play as a team together when years previously this would not have been the case. There is always a risk of harm when playing physical sports but the trustees have mitigated this by ensuring that the facilities are kept up to the appropriate health and safety standards. The organisations beneficiaries are the whole Belfast community all of whom can use the facilities and they will benefit from being healthier and from improved community relations.
