The purpose of St Anne’s Support Group is to support the local community through encouraging and promoting partnerships between home, school and the local community. The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include the promotion of health and wellbeing within the community, as sporting events are engaged in by all members and all ages.

Benefits also include enhanced community cohesion. The community is a rural community and there is no other like facility available. The Support Group brings increased availability to services in the community and has created a footpath allowing safe access to the hall. These benefits can be demonstrated by feedback from members of the local community and increasing numbers and demand for use of the facilities. The beneficiaries are the senior citizens, mothers, those in need and the general public within the Corkey, Loughguile and Cloughmill areas. There is no harm flowing from this purpose. There is no private benefit flowing from this purpose.

What your organisation does

The organisation is accountable for taking and organising bookings,creating invoices for billing,ensuring all users have Accessni and appropriating vetting clearances in place,collecting and banking money and applying for funding.They are also aware of the hall as the only place for meeting in the Corkey community and view their role also as

providing opportunities for socialising and community bonding.
