Public benefits

PURPOSE 1 – The propagation and dissemination, in all parts of the world, of the truths and doctrines of the Christian Faith (3.1 in Trust Deed). The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include spiritual, psychological and eternal benefits that derive from developing a relationship of peace and trust with God. These benefits are

demonstrated through the regular positive feedback that we receive from individuals, church leaders and lecturers who use our material. This purpose is not harmful. The charity’s beneficiaries in relation to this purpose are members of the general public and in particular those interested in study of the Christian Scriptures, either for personal edification or in the context of formal higher education. The only private benefit flowing from this purpose is that our trustees, staff and volunteers may gain in their own knowledge of the materials as they prepare them for publication and in their skills in their production of the same. PURPOSE 2 – the furtherance and encouragement, in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland and abroad, of Christian teaching and education and advancement of the Christian Faith (3.1 in Trust Deed) The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include increased knowledge and understanding of the Bible and Christian theology, which are acknowledged elements of any truly rounded education. These benefits are demonstrated through the regular positive feedback that we receive from individuals, church leaders and lecturers who use our material for private study and as part of a curriculum in a range of countries including the UK, the USA, Germany, Spain, Southeast Asia, Russia and Brasil. This purpose is not harmful. The charity’s beneficiaries in relation to this purpose are primarily the general public and in particular those interested in study of the Christian Scriptures, either for personal edification or in the context of formal higher education in the UK, Ireland and globally. The only private benefit flowing from this purpose is that our trustees, staff and volunteers may gain in their own knowledge of the materials as they prepare them for publication and in their skills in their production of the same.

The Myrtlefield Trust propagates and disseminates in all parts of the world the truths and doctrines of the Christian faith and seeks the furtherance and encouragement of Christian teaching and education and advancement of the Christian faith and the encouragement of missionary enterprise.
