Public benefits
The direct benefits which flow from our purpose is to make a lasting impact on the women and families who are at the margins of society by providing them with the help and support they need in order to rebuild their lives, increase their confidence, improve their self-esteem, equip them with the necessary life skills and provide them with
opportunities so they can reach their full potential. These benefits are demonstrated through regular evaluation forms from every participant on the programmes. The organisation receive updated information from facilitators by way of report forms and participant evaluation forms. The procedures will take into account the aims and objectives of the project. Regular evaluation will allow for any potential under-achieving aspects of the project to be identified and addressed promptly, thus avoiding long term damage and shortfalls that may impact service delivery. Accountable and regular evaluation of the project is essential to ensure the services and activities provided to all participants are relevant and fulfilling their intended objective; also to ensure the organisation measures its effectiveness and incorporates changing trends and needs among the target group. The purposes of our charity will not lead to any harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are disadvantaged women living within North and West Belfast who are suffering from socio-economic issues and other problems such as loneliness, anxiety, depression, mental health, domestic violence, addiction, low esteem and no confidence. The immediate families of the women who take part within our programmes will also be of benefit due to the positive change in mindset within the mother/wife.
