Public benefits
The benefits which flow from purpose (1) include: engaging local people of all age groups and backgrounds in the arts; presenting opportunities to learn and develop new and existing skills; Build confidence and self-esteem through participation in arts activities thus, improving general health and well being as well as social skills. Providing a
platform for artists to showcase and share their talents. These benefits are evidenced through information received from verbal and written feedback from beneficiaries, discussions and feedback from Arts Forum organisers at monthly Arts Forum Management meetings and project reports to Dungannon & South Tyrone Borough Council. There is no harm flowing from this purpose. A private benefit to trustees may include; knowledge, skills and confidence gained through the procurement, organisation and management of arts activities on behalf of the Arts Forum, which can then also be transferred to other settings. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to the Arts Forum beneficiaries.
What your organisation does
Dungannon Borough Arts Forum is a voluntary organisation supported by Dungannon Council with the remit of promoting, increasing and developing an interest in all forms of the Arts within the Borough of Dungannon. The committee consists of representatives from a number of local arts groups as well as individuals artists.

Charitable purposes
The objects of the Arts Forum are to promote, maintain, improve and advance education by the encouragement of the arts, including without any limitation, visual arts, drama, dance, music, crafts and verbal arts for the inhabitants of Dungannon and it surrounding environs.
