Public benefits

Part 1 – Improved relationships between home and school. The benefit which flows from the purpose of the organisation is that schools will have additional funding and resources, which enhances the education of the pupils. Links are also built with the local community. The organisation has stated that these benefits are demonstrated by having an

active PTA that works in partnership with the school and has parental support. The purpose does not lead to any harm and the only private benefit is that the trustees have children at the school and therefore benefit in the same way as other beneficiaries. The organisation has confirmed that this private benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure that the benefits are provided to all the beneficiaries. Part 2 – Advancing the education of pupils in the school. The benefit is increased educational progress and attainment of pupils of the school. This benefit is demonstrated by the pupils of the school having access to events and resources which are not available through direct school funding. The purpose does not lead to any harm and the only private benefit is that the trustees have children at the school and therefore benefit in the same way as other beneficiaries. The organisation has confirmed that this private benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure that the benefits are provided to all the beneficiaries.
