Public benefits
Benefit one St Patrick's Playgroup provide activities to enhance children's development socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually which increases their confidence and their ability to socialise and share with other children. Benefit two Our setting provides opportunities through play to encourage children to reach their full potential
which links with parents, leading to an extended experience which follows from playgroup to their home environment. Our playgroup links with local nursery schools and local primary schools, where teachers come and visit our setting to meet children moving to new school. Staff prepare children moving through books and discussions and taking them to visit new school in month of June. The benefit would be demonstrated by our planning activities and evaluation on how children used resources. We receive feedback from parents’ questionnaires and through parents meetings for feedback on how their child is developing. We have feedback from our inspections and from our link social worker termly. We receive feedback from our early years’ specialist which helps self Evaluation how we are progressed. Children and families in the community benefit to the pre-school education provided. The benefit to management and Trustees is that ongoing training in good governance and finance will ensure the playgroup operates efficiently. These benefits are necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.
