Purpose 1 – the advancement of education The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include providing quality childcare to parents of children age from birth to 12 years old. These benefits can be demonstrated by providing a structured environment for children to learn through play. The beneficiaries of this purpose are families of the

children attending the nursery. Purpose 2 – the relief of poverty The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include helping low income families. These benefits can be demonstrated by providing childcare and training opportunities for parents trying to obtain a qualification to help them get a job. The beneficiaries of this purpose are parents and young people. Purpose 3 – the preservation and protection of health The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include helping children meet milestones and help them achieve milestones. These benefits can be demonstrated by observing and recording children on a regular basis and reporting anything unusual & seeking help and advice. The beneficiaries of this purpose are families, children at risk/ needing additional help. Purpose 4 – the provision of childcare, play facilities and recreational activities in the interests of social welfare The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include providing quality child care both indoors and outdoors. These benefits can be demonstrated by providing learning through play for all children attending our setting. We set the children challenges and goals to achieve. We provide a caring environment for children to come to on a regular basis. The beneficiaries of this purpose are families and the children using the centre. There is no harm flowing from this purpose. The children are cared for in an environment registered by social services we provide the children with a safe environment The only private benefit flowing from the purposes is the income from fees but this is incidental and necessary because the money is used pay for food, staff wages and bills there is no private benefit flowing from this purpose.

WE HELP PARENTS TO SEEK AN EDUCATION BY CARING FOR THE CHILDREN WHILE THE PARENTS WORK. CAREERS N KIDS HELP PREPARE THE CHILDREN FOR MOVING ON TO NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL.

Charitable purposes

The company's objects ("Objects") are specifically restricted to the advancement of education, relief of poverty and preservation and protection of health of children (under 12 years old) within North and West Belfast and their environs of County Antrim (the 'area of benefit') by the provision of childcare, play facilities and recreational activities in the interests of social welfare with the object of enhancing the education and development of said children, without distinction of sex, race or of political, religious or other opinions, and so that their conditions of life may be improved and in particular: (a) to provide facilities for the daily care, recreation and education for children who are below the compulsory school age and for children of compulsory school age out of school hours and during school holidays.
