Public benefits
The direct benefits which flow from our object or purpose includes giving people a meeting place to get together with others to do enjoy social interaction and to take part in activities of a social and recreational nature. The participants learn new skills and share their own knowledge and skills with each other. They will occasionally play sports
to improve health and social interaction. We will also make our hall available to other groups to deliver classes such as boccia and armchair aerobics to improve movement and mental and physical health for people of all ages. We provide neutral space in the rural area of Aughlisnafin which will be promoted to the whole community regardless of religion, ethnic origin or personal background to encourage better community relations. These benefits are demonstrated through feedback from participants and beneficiaries and by the level of uptake of our activities. The purposes of our charity will not lead to any harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are people living in the Aughlisnafin area of Down District. There will be no private benefit to trustees.
