Public benefits
We advance Christianity as our public benefit, this is demonstrated through the promotion and adoption of a moral framework which encourages people to be good citizens primarily through Sunday Services which are open to all irrespective of gender, age,race and sexual orientation We also provide religious education through Bible Study, sunday school
and discussion groups. In addition we offer pastoral /hospital visiting and care to all in our community. The church supports the local primary school. The Church actively supports all age groups through providing a variety of cultural clubs, e.g. gardening, floral art,film club,book club,yoga etc.
What your organisation does
To meet for the public worship of God in the spirit of Jesus, and as the disciples of Christ. To preach the Word of God in accordance with the Constitution, Code of Discipline and regulations of the Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church of Ireland.To promote the Christian Faith within the community of Dunmurry and district without the requirement of
Minister, Elders, or Members to subscribe to a doctrinal statement of faith as a condition of Church Membership. To offer the sacraments of Baptism and the Lords Supper (communion) in accordance with the Constitution, Code of Discipline and Regulations of the Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church of Ireland. To offer pastoral care to those in need within the Church family and beyond; not least to the sick and elderly within our community. To facilitate access to those in need of denominational charities as may be appropriate, and as connected to the Non-Subscribing Church of Ireland. To support youth organisations within the community as appropriate. To support wider community life through the maintenance of good relations with all other church traditions, through collaborative working with the appropriate Community Associations.
