be evidenced from evaluations of the work of the Group, records of attendance at arts, cultural and heritage events, feedback from participants and community surveys. No harm or private benefit arises from this purpose. Purpose (2) – The benefits that flows from this purpose are: (i) an increase in employment and training opportunities in areas of economic and social deprivation; (ii) a greater sense among the beneficiaries of more fulfilled and purposeful lives, resulting in a safer, more stable and cohesive community. These benefits can be evidenced from records relating to the growth of employment and training opportunities, evaluations and community surveys. No harm or private benefit arises from this purpose.

What your organisation does

Our organisation proposes to set up a family Irish cultural centre to provide educational and recreational activities in the local Community we intend to achieve this by providing a diverse range of activities including but not limited to Irish Language Classes, Art and Craft classes and exhibitions, music lessons, self improvement classes in IT,

numeracy and literacy, Historical and Cultural lectures and a series of music concerts representing all cultures and traditions within the local community.

Charitable purposes

Purposes The Charity’s objects (“Objects”) are to:- (1) Advance the arts, culture and heritage for the benefit of the public in Limavady district and its environs (the “area of benefit”) by: (i) promoting, organising and publicising cultural, language and arts activities, events, performances and initiatives; (ii) encouraging interest in and raising awareness of cultural, language and heritage matters and issues; (iii) encouraging and facilitating public participation in the arts. (2) Advance sustainable development for the public benefit in the area of benefit by the promotion of sustainable means of achieving economic growth and regeneration, in particular by promoting cultural tourism, cultural exchange and opportunities for vocational and recreational purposes for all age groups and abilities.
