Public benefits

The purpose of Ten5 at Macosquinps Limited is to enhance the development and education of children between the ages of 4 and 11 years by encouraging parents or guardians to understand and provide for the needs of their children by:- 1 – Offering appropriate play facilities and sessional day-care facilities as an after schools and holiday term

facility to the wider community, with the rights of parents/guardians to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities of the Charity, ensuring that the Charity offers opportunities for all children, regardless of religion, culture, race or means. The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include: 1. Increased childcare provision during term time and school holiday time to the residents of Macosquin and the surrounding area but not limited to either Macosquin or the surrounding area, 2. Giving the parents, guardians and carers of those children the opportunity to declare their needs for such childcare and the timing of its provision to enable them in turn to organise work or other commitments and 3. Providing childcare that is in a safe, controlled and approved environment that is available to anyone irrespective of their religion, culture race or means. These benefits can be demonstrated by: 1. The provision of up to and including 24 childcare places 2. The opportunity for parents or guardians of the said children to become involved in the management of the organisation 3. The provision of childcare that has been inspected and judged suitable by Early Years. 2 – Encouraging the study of the needs of such children and their families and promoting the public interest in and recognition of such needs of such children and their families in the local areas. The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include: 1. The provision of childcare that meets the requirements of parents, guardians and carers in terms of timing and appropriateness 2. Provision of stimulating activities to promote childcare and associated learning activities in a safe and controlled environment 3. Educate and inform parents, guardians and carers of the provided childcare so that they can make the choice that best suits their and the children’s needs. These benefits can be demonstrated by: 1. Parents, guardians and carers are given the opportunity in advance to request child care provision in advance and 2. Make suggestions for activities and trips that they feel would be appropriate and intellectually stimulating for the children 3. The inclusion of parental views in what is appropriate in the day to day management of the organisation. 4. The availability of the childcare through the organisation’s website and leaflets. The beneficiaries are: 1. The children that attend the organisation 2. The parents, guardians and carers of the said children 3. The wider community as a whole in that the organisation acts as a cohesive force welcoming adults and children to the area. There is no harm flowing from this purpose. There is no private benefit flowing from this purpose.

What your organisation does

The organization provides adult led childcare in an educationally stimulating environment , available to parents and guardians of children aged between 4 and 11 years of age. This childcare facility is available during term time as an after schools club and as a holiday time facility, to support parents/ guardians with children who need quality

childcare whether they are at work or simply require childcare during those periods. The facility is available to the public at large and can be demonstrated as the service that flows from the organization's purposes as set out in its Memorandum and Articles of Association.
