acts of public worship ? Inspiration, focus and religious benefit through access to religious publications, including sacred texts and literature. How the benefits can be demonstrated ? Greater understanding of faith ? Improved health and well being ? Increased ability to positively contribute to family, community, work and civic society N.B. No harm arises from this purpose, no private benefits are gained, and the benefits received by the beneficiaries are free of charge. Benefit 2 The relief of poverty Who are the beneficiaries? Open to all of the public and in particular those who are aware of the services of Acts 2 Community Fellowship, through word of mouth, publications, advertisement etc. All are welcome, regardless of background. Direct Benefit ? Financial support ? Housing support, clothing or food ? Educational opportunities ? Improved employability ? The adoption of an improved moral framework How the benefits can be demonstrated ? Improved health and nutrition ? Promotional materials ? Training provided ? Improved behaviour ? Improvement in social, emotional and physical well-being of participants. N.B. No harm arises from this purpose, no private benefits are gained and the benefits received by the beneficiaries are free of charge. Benefit 3 The provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupation of people who are in need as a result of their youth, age, infirmity or social and economic circumstances. Direct benefits ? Use of facilities provided by Acts 2 Community Fellowship to enable beneficiaries to receive Benefits 1 and 2 above, ? Educational opportunities ? Improved employability ? The adoption of an improved moral framework How the benefits can be demonstrated ? Ability to access charitable benefits (1 and 2 above) as a result of the use of the facilities ? Resultant improvement in social, emotional and physical well-being of participants. N.B. The Charity is established for the: a) advancement of the Christian religion in accordance with the letter and spirit of the Trust’s statement of faith b) the relief of poverty c) the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupation of people who are in need as a result of their youth, age, infirmity or social and economic circumstances.
