Public benefits
Orphans Hope has been established to show Gods love to the people of Asia by assisting orphans and other children in need, beginning in China and then in its neighboring countries. China, the main area of operation, has a one child policy which means that thousands of children end up abandoned every year. Orphans Hope are directly involved in
adoption and fostering cases within this area and helping those involved in this process. Orphans hope partner with the Dawn Project and support them financially to carry out adoption and fostering processes. The direct benefits which flow from the purpose of Orphans Hope is support and nurturing orphans and other children in need in the area of benefit, by ensuring these children are healthy by supporting directly with medical services, adequately fed by providing food and milk for those that are without. Orphans hope also focus on children that require medical care that are beyond what local orphanages can provide for them, and cover the cost of surgery if needed. Orphans hope desires to be a family to these children, nurturing and supporting children that have been abandoned through education and social interaction with others, through funding teachers and trainers. Orphans hope also provide short respite for to allow for medical checks to take place in hospitals within the cities the orphanages live in. Finally, Orphans hope encourages interest in and provides opportunities for active participation in mercy ministry from the Christian community in the UK and Ireland in the area of Asia. There will be no harm or potential for harm as a result of our purposes that we carry out. There no private benefit gain from the purposes as members as situated in Northern Ireland and benefactors are situated in Asia.
What your organisation does
These benefits are evidence through Orphans Hope partnering with the ‘Dawn Project’ which is where they create a family where children can be fostered while they are in transition to find adoptive families. We focus on children who have medical need that requires care beyond what an orphanage can provide for them. We desire to be a family to these
children while we help to find families that are able to permanently adopt them. We also take children into the home for short periods to help them with medical checks that can be done at the local hospital in the cities their orphanages are in. Orphans Hope also provides support in terms of education and training to the children in orphanages and the Dawn project by providing teachers and trainers. Orphans Hope encourages interest in and provides opportunities for active participation in mercy ministry from the Christian community in the UK and Ireland to the area of benefit.
