The direct benefits which flow from the purpose to our beneficiaries are : • increased ability to communicate in an open and trusting manner. • this direct benefit is capable of being demonstrated by the increase in quality time spent talking, listening and writing to each other thereby helping them to cope with the stresses and anxieties of
everyday life. We receive feedback from the beneficiaries, oral and written, on the improvement in couple and family life. • There is no harm nor possibility of harm. • Private benefits to unintended beneficiaries - family, parish and community. When the husband and wife enrich their communication skills the family are the secondary beneficiaries. This is demonstrated by increased quality family time and better interpersonal communication and they experience more security in the increased stability and happiness of their parents. People are encouraged to become more involved in parish and Christian community relationships. • Presenters receive on-going training which can be transferable to other settings. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure that the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries. • Concerning fees’ – we charge a booking fee (£25 for ME, £50 for EE) when booking, although this will be waived if necessary. We used plain unmarked envelopes for donations at the end of the weekend and participants are encouraged to donate what they can afford. .
What your organisation does
The Charity provides education, advice, guidance and discussions for married couples and couples preparing for marriage, in order that they may have a proper understanding of the rights, duties and responsibilities of a Christian married life, as well as for priests and members of religious orders and others who wish to increase their knowledge and
development of their relational skills with their parishioners or in their community in Northern Ireland.
