Public Benefit Statement – Benmore Playgroup The direct benefits which flow from the stated purpose are in improved educational development and raising awareness of age appropriate play based on learning among parents and carers and the provision of early education for children under statutory school age in Finaghy, Belfast. These benefits are
evidenced through feedback from parents, Early Years Advisor and regular monitoring and evaluation of the service by Social Services and the Education and Training Inspectorate. This purpose does not give rise to any harm. The beneficiaries of the purpose are children under statutory school age living in the Finaghy area of Belfast. They also include parents and carers of children under statutory school age in Finaghy and its surrounding areas. Private benefits flow to Playgroup staff through payment of salaries and ongoing training for personal development. These benefits are necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries. There are no fees associated with the service.
