Public benefits
Developing nations, and specifically the Balkans, E Europe and Kosova are characterised by sparse economic activity. The consequences are often strained family incomes, impoverished communities, poor education and poor healthcare. The NCIT purposes reflect that these consequences affect all areas of life. In advancement of Christian Faith and
improvement of the holistic life of communities of Developing Nations, work done in advancement of education, health, and community development results in the relief of hardship & disadvantage. The direct benefits that flow from these purposes are manifold: • It will bring hope and financial stability to families and communities • As a result of education and training people gain access to employment and hope for the future • By assisting in health promotion community and family lives are improved • Improving the context for investment fuels broader economic growth. • All of this will bring great family cohesion – allowing children to be cared for, fed, educated and nurtured These benefits will be evidenced through greater numbers of men and women finding income and dignity through their work. As a result, this will help to bring long-term self-sustainability for local people in terms of economic, social and environmental performance The values and ethics of the Christian Faith underpin all that NCIT seeks to do for communities and the general public in the countries in which we operate. The direct benefits include outcomes that arise from Christian Faith such as the modelling and promotion of the eradication of corruption, the payment of taxes, good business practice, honesty and integrity in business. These benefits are evidenced through people being treated fairly within their employment. We do not anticipate that any harm or possibility of harm, or any private benefit should arise from any of these purposes.
