Public benefits

The direct benefits which flow from the purposes include an increased religious knowledge (knowledge of the bible, study books and other resources) within the Dungannon and South Tyrone area, comfort to persons in ill-health or nearing death and an increased capacity amongst missionaries to see the Christian faith improved, advanced and spread

through the income derived from the sale of these resources being re-distributed to the religious organisations. The benefits can be measured through the section of people coming to the bookshop to purchase and benefit from the resources available as confirmed in the annual accounts. The Burning Bush charity believes there is no harm that will arise as the resources ultimately assist in increasing knowledge. In respect of counselling, the counsellors are experienced with adult or elderly people and, from past experience, this has been the section of the community most regularly requesting such assistance but youth or vulnerable-persons enquiries would be passed to local charities providing a counselling service.
