members of the public. These benefits can be evidenced through evaluations of the activities and impact of the Trust, feedback from the participants and records of the progress they have made. No harm or private benefit arises from these purposes. 2. The public benefits that flow from Object 2 are the increased efficiency and effectiveness of those community and voluntary groups and organisations assisted by the Trust, resulting in enhanced outcomes and service delivery and, consequently, an improved quality of life for those who benefit from the work of these groups and organisations; The beneficiaries are members of the public who benefit from the work of these community and voluntary organisations. These benefits can be evidenced through evaluations of the work and impact of these groups and organisations and feedback from their beneficiaries. No harm or private benefit arises from this purpose. 3. The public benefits that flow from Object 3 are: (i) enhanced quality of life and sense of well-being through engagement with and participation in creative artistic events and activities; (ii) increased opportunities for the public to access arts, culture and heritage as a result of an extended range of activities and events taking place; (iii) enhanced inclusion, particularlyamong marginalised groups in society; (iv) renewed enthusiasm for the belief in the arts as a means of expression and fulfilment. The beneficiaries are members of the public. These benefits can be evidenced through feedback from the participants, records of the number of participants and evaluations of the work and impact of the Trust and other arts, cultural and heritage organisations. No harm or private benefit arises from this purpose.

Northern Visions Media Trusts maintains premises in Donegall Street, Belfast. The trust employs fulltime and casual staff and maintains equipment to provide training and mentoring in television production techniques to long term trainees, and to participants in 1 to 5 day workshops in specific aspects of television production.

Northern Visions Media Trust objects are to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Northern Ireland (the “area of benefit”) without distinction of sex, race, ethnicity or political, religious or other opinions by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to relieve poverty, advance education, and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants by providing education and training in television production techniques thereby enabling those who are unemployed to acquire the necessary skills to find employment.
