These benefits are demonstrated through attendance records, feedback from our clientele and our partner organisations and statistical and financial returns. There will be no

harm flowing from this purpose. The charity’s beneficiaries are the inhabitants of Taghnevan and district area of Lurgan in County Armagh and its environs. The only private benefit flowing from this purpose is ongoing training in good governance, financial management and good relations. Through this training trustees gain skills and experience which are transferable to other settings. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries. What your organisation does

We administer and support the Parents and Toddlers Group and the Senior Citizens Social Centre. We provide social services, educational and recreational facilities welfare rights advice and information. We carry out research and publish findings, organise meetings, lectures, classes, exhibitions and family fun days. We secure funds, recruit and

train volunteers and network with the statutory bodies and other groups by hosting and attending housing, community safety and residents meetings. We are members of the local Verve network and are a recognised SHSCT Healthy Living Centre which offers a range of activities and programmes for the community.

OBJECTS 3.1 The Association is established to' relieve poverty, sickness and the aged and to' promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Taghnevan and district area of Lurgan County Armagh and its environs (hereinafter called "the area of benefit") without distinction of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, class, marital status, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary and community sector organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to' advance education, and to' provide facilities in the interests of social welfare fer recreation or ether leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
