Public benefits

The committee members believe that the purpose satisfies both elements of the public benefit requirement. The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include providing the area with quality childcare and pre-school education, which enhances development and education opportunities to all children attending the centre. The children are

provided with opportunities of play and experiences that are not otherwise available in the area. These benefits are demonstrated through the numbers of children we have attending our centre and from feedback from children who attend the centre and their parents. Our work is also inspected by Social Services, Early Years and the Education Board. This purpose does not give rise to any harm. The beneficiaries of the purpose are children aged 6 weeks - 14 years living on the Scrogg Road and surrounding areas. Any private benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.
