may be the only outings, except Church, for some members; improved mental health and well being; increased practical skills such as sewing and cooking; more informed about physical health; more aware of what’s happening locally; Christmas event provides substantial meal and social activities at this time of Year which can be lonesome for some; These benefits will be evidenced by: word of mouth feedback on our activities; finished garment or product following sewing or cookery class; people report improvements in physical or mental well being; written feedback forms; photographs of events; feedback to funders We do not anticipate any harm leading from the purposes of our charity. The charity’s beneficiaries are people in the Greenan and surrounding area of Omagh District Council. The only private benefit flowing from this purpose is than a trustee will gain skills and knowledge through our education programme. Through this trustees gain skills which are transferable to other settings. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.

What your organisation does

Greenan Womans Group undertakes a wide variety of social and educational activiries in the Hall. The Groups main objective is to develop the capacity of women and young people within the Greenan area. The group work closely with other Womens Groups in and around a 10 mile radius and exposes am active programme of activity that includes : Cookery

and Healthy Eating Specific work with older persons, Dance and keep fit classes

The group is established for the benefit of women in Greenan and surrounding district (hereinafter described as the 'area of benefit') by the provision or assistance in the provision of facilities for the advancement of education, relief of poverty, protection and preservation of health, and for recreation or other leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said women.
