Purpose B Promote arts, crafts and culture.The direct benefits include giving people a meeting place to get together to do art/cultural activities and enjoy the social interaction which flows from these.The participants gain new experience/skills and interact with others with similar interests.These benefits are demonstrated through uptake of activities and feedback from participants.The purposes of our charity will not lead to harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are people living in and around Annsborough. Purpose C Provide facilities to improve the conditions of life.The direct benefits include access to facilities and activities to improve education and wellbeing.Benefits are demonstrated through uptake of services and feedback. Purpose D Advance education/training and provide advice.The direct benefits include the education of people in a range of subjects ie personal development. Benefits are demonstrated through the number of people completing courses/activities and feedback from beneficiaries.The purposes of our charity will not lead to any harm.The charity’s beneficiaries are people living in and around Annsborough. A private benefit to trustees may arise from our programme of training/activities. Trustees may gain skills which are transferable to other settings.These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries. Purpose G Improvement of environment/public amenities.The direct benefits include giving people access to a meeting place to enjoy social interaction and to take part in activities of a social/recreational nature.The participants learn new skills and share knowledge and skills with each other.These benefits are demonstrated through level of uptake of activities and participant feedback.The purposes of our charity will not lead to any harm.The charity’s beneficiaries are people living in and around Annsborough.There will be no private benefit to trustees. Purpose H Promote good community relations and equality.The direct benefits includes providing neutral space in Annsborough Village which will be promoted to the whole community regardless of religion,ethnic origin or background.These benefits are demonstrated through the numbers/background of those using our facilities by using attendance and evaluation sheets.The purposes of our charity will not lead to any harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are people living in Annsborough and the surrounding rural area.

Charitable purposes

The Charity's objects are specifically restricted to the following:- To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Annsborough area and its environs (the "area of benefit") without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, age, race, ethnicity, or political, religious or other opinion by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary and community organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to: (a) Promote active citizenship and develop the capacity and skills of the members of the community in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet their needs and to participate more fully in society; (b) Promote arts, crafts and culture by organising festivals, performances and events; (c) Provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said residents; (d) Advance education and training and provide information and advice to local inhabitants; (e) Relieve those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability or other disadvantage and promote community safety; (f) Advance health and promote participation in healthy recreation; (g) Advance environmental protection and improvement and improve or provide public amenities; (h) Promote good community relations and social cohesion, racial harmony and equality and diversity.
