The section of the public which benefits from our Fund is any member of the public living within the Castlederg area who suffer from a chronic illness or a terminal illness may benefit from the Fund. They may benefit by relief of their symptoms, by making them more comfortable, by improving their quality of life and by supporting them and their

carers in achieving these benefits. These are measured by feedback from the beneficiaries of the Fund and their carers. There is no private benefit or potential harm from the objects.

Charitable purposes

The Fund is established to improve the quality of life of chronically and terminally ill persons in the Castlederg area who wish to be cared for at home by making available when required specialist equipment, aids for their care and other appropriate complementary medical services. In addition the Fund may in exceptional circumstances make cash donations to the patients or their carers for their relief.
