By relieving and preventing financial hardship and poverty, our beneficiaries are healthier and experience lower levels of stress and anxiety as a direct benefit of our purposes. Furthermore, our beneficiaries are much more likely to attend and conclude third level education or academic research which will naturally increase their employment
opportunities in later life and increase their likelihood of achieving financial security for them and their families. Our beneficiaries are better equipped to make the transition from education to employment due to the financial assistance and support we provide which is often used to buy tools and other resources used in their forthcoming or future employment. This improves employability and leads to less stress and anxiety associated with this often difficult transition. These benefits are evidenced through feedback from our beneficiaries and members as reported in our annual statements. This purpose does not lead to harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are: (i) Members of the Loyal Orange Institution of Ireland or the Association of Loyal Orangewomen in Ireland (ii) Children of members of the Loyal Orange institution of Ireland or the Association of Loyal Orangewomen in Ireland (iii) Grandchildren of members of the Loyal Orange institution of Ireland or the Association of Loyal Orangewomen in Ireland; who are: (a) Attending or seeking to attend a third level educational establishment; (b) Leaving school, university or other educational establishment ; (c) Continuing academic research or studies or; (d) disabled (whether physically or with a learning disability). No private benefit arises from the operation of the charity.

Our organisation provides financial assistance for the prevention or relief of poverty in the form of grants to: (i) Members of the Loyal Orange Institution of Ireland or the Association of Loyal Orangewomen in Ireland (ii) Children of members of the Loyal Orange institution of Ireland or the Association of Loyal Orangewomen in Ireland (iii)
Grandchildren of members of the Loyal Orange institution of Ireland or the Association of Loyal Orangewomen in Ireland; who are: (a) Attending or seeking to attend a third level educational establishment; (b) Leaving school, university or other educational establishment ; (c) Continuing academic research or studies or; (d) disabled (whether physically or with a learning disability).
