The direct benefit from the services provided by the Aisling Centre is improved mental health and emotional well-being which brings with it significant public benefit eg reduced risk of suicide and self-harm, improved functioning, work performance and educational attainment, improved family relationships, reduced social isolation and increased

individual and community well-being, reduced physical health problems, reduced pressure of health services eg ED’s, GP’s, medication etc The benefits are evidenced through on-going evaluation of therapeutic interventions and programmes and feedback from people who avail of the services. The Service is available to people living in NI, and in particular for the people of County Fermanagh and the surrounding area There will be no harm flowing from this purpose There will be no private benefits flowing from this purpose

The core work of the Aisling Centre is the provision of a professional counselling and psychotherapy service. The Centre also provides support groups/services, complementary therapies, befriending, educational and social programmes/groups /networks and advice and information. Services are provided in-house and on an outreach basis.
