Public benefits

Purpose one The direct benefits which flow from this purpose are the advancement of the education and development of the children achieved through creating an environment which will meet their emotional, social, health and intellectual needs. These benefits are evidenced through evaluation from each child’s assigned key worker and feedback from

parents/carers. This purpose does not lead to any harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are children under statutory school age in the Armagh City and surrounding areas. The charity’s beneficiaries also include parent/carers of the children. A private benefit flowing from this purpose is that gained by a Trustee who also has a child who uses the pre school service. The trustee applies for and is assigned a place in the same way as all other beneficiaries. The benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries. Purpose two The direct benefits which flow from this purpose are that all children are strong, competent and visible in their communities and that all children are physically and psychologically healthy, eager to learn and respect those that are different. These benefits are evidenced through evaluation from each child’s assigned key worker and feedback form parents/carers and our Early Years advisor and development worker. This purpose does not lead to any harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are children under statutory school age in the Armagh City and surrounding areas. The charity’s beneficiaries also include parent/carers of the children. A private benefit to trustees may arise from our programme of Early Years Childcare and Education training. Through this training trustees gain skills and experience which are transferable to other settings. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.
