The benefit which flows from the purpose (1) includes: improved social outcomes, physical and mental health and well being and stress reduction for members and their carers. These benefits will be evidenced through feedback and consultation from members and their regular attendance at the club. There is no harm flowing from this purpose. A private

benefit to trustees may arise from our ongoing programme of activities in which the trustees may gain skills and confidence which can then be transferred to other settings. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries. These benefits are evidenced through feedback and regular attendance at the club. There is no harm flowing from this purpose. What your organisation does

Working within the Dungannon Council area, we use volunteers, to provide social and recreational activities such as pottery, bowling, dance, sports, crafts, entertainment and outings for people with learning disabilities.

Charitable purposes

(1) The relief of people with a learning disability in particular by the provision of help and support for them and for their families, dependents and carers, and to prevent learning disabilities for the public benefit. (2) To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for the recreation or other leisure time occupation for people who have need thereof by reason of learning disability with the object of improving their conditions of life.
