the importance of sustainability and food consumption. - A wide range of horticulture based skills resulting in new employment opportunities. - An overall greater sense of wellbeing as a direct result of spending time in nature and engaging in nature-based activities. The above mentioned benefits are evidenced through a number of different avenues; questionnaires completed by participants, in depth semi-structured interviews, facilitators observation notes, photographs of sessions, feedback sheets completed by participants, facilitators weekly reports or annual reports. No harm at all arises from this, and the beneficiaries are the public, with a focus on young adults, their parents and socially and economically disadvantaged and excluded.
