The provision of play based education for children under statutory school age, in the Fintona area, and its surrounding townlands. The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include: improved learning outcomes for the children attending, plus opportunities for social integration and emotional well being. Other benefits include strong

These benefits can be demonstrated by feedback received from parents, detailed observations carried out by staff daily, and by the inspections process carried out by the education and training inspectorate, and social services. The purpose of the playgroup is beneficial to both children and their families and there is no possibility of harm. The beneficiaries of this purpose are the children who attend this playgroup and their parents/carers. There are no private benefits to persons connected with the playgroup. Any training provided to committee members eg in financial procedures, committee skills, child protection, first aid etc is necessary to ensure high standards of governance for the playgroup and any benefits incurred are incidental.
