The purpose of Puzzles play group is to provide education to children aged 3-4 years, through the provision of a safe and educative childcare environment which is wholly inclusive to everyone in the local area, regardless of race, culture, religion or needs. Puzzles playgroup benefits the public through the advancement of preschool children’s
education. By providing a supportive educational group which adheres to the Northern Ireland curriculum, Puzzles playgroup actively promotes the social developmental health needs of each child aged between 3-4 years old within the locality. This service is open to all children within the 3-4 year old age group, regardless of nationality, religion or ethnicity. The positive benefits children receive from this service are clearly outlined through their progress reports throughout the year. The educational foundation attained at Puzzles playgroup positively advances each child in their preparation for primary school education. At Puzzles we encourage parent’s full participation in their children’s educational development. Parents are an integral part of the playgroup committee and meet regularly to select and facilitate learning opportunities for children in the locality. Our staff members come from the local community. Welcoming parents from all sections of the community, we provide a venue for the children’s health and educational needs to be supported and developed. This cohesive approach provides the wider benefit of supporting the advancement of local community development and integration. Our policies and procedures fully reflect our commitment to maximising parent participation in the running of the playgroup.
What your organisation does
Puzzles playgroup provides a high quality education for pre-school children aged 3-4 years old. We provide education following the Northern Ireland curriculum which we use to help develop and promote children's development including areas of art and culture and basic sports programs. We offer support to our families in any concerns they may have
about their child's development. We provide our service to everyone from the community regardless of their background, culture or religion. We also provide respite to parents that may have a child with a special educational need. We also help train young people in the community to become childcare providers for the future. Our staff are trained to the highest standards to provide a high quality service to the community.
