Public benefits

The trustees stand possessed of the trust fund for such charitable purposes designed for the advancement of the stated objects in the British Isles or elsewhere throughout the world. Advancement of the Christian Faith. The benefits of the Christian faith are I would have thought, self-evident. For over two thousand years the Christian message has

transformed lives from every corner of the globe. The Scriptures make it very clear that all are in need of salvation and this salvation has transformed countless lives. Is there any more evident or necessary benefit? The Trust advances this aim by gifts to Churches and charities such as The Bible Society, Evangelical Alliance, Belfast Bible College, Langham Partnership etc. The relief of poverty. Again poverty is worldwide and the public benefit should not need to have to explained further. The Trust makes gifts to charities such as Tearfund, Sitout, OM and Habitat for Humanity etc. Advancement of education. Many of the organisations that the Trust supports would assist in education worldwide e.g. Tearfund,YFC Europe etc. Advancement of Health and saving lives. Once again these benefits are worldwide and the Trust supports by financial giving organisations such as N.I. Chest Heart and Stroke, R.N.L.I., N.I.Hospice etc. All of the above activities flow from the Trust's purposes are for the exact opposite of being harmful. Those who benefit from the work of the above named charities come from every corner of the globe. Surely no further evidence is necessary. These benefits can be seen in the lives and circumstances of those assisted by the Trust. The intended beneficiaries are anyone within the objects of the Trust without any limitation. The purpose specified are designed to benefit and not to harm. The private lives and circumstances of the intended beneficiaries should be where the benefits are seen.
