To provide a Christian Counselling Service to the public in Northern Ireland, without distinction of race, creed, political or religious opinion with the object of relieving the poverty, sickness and distress of those persons who are suffering from (1) physical, (2) emotional, (3) mental and (4) spiritual disabilities… The benefits which flow from

their purposes at points 1,2, 3 and 4 include the improved health outcomes and reduce levels of stress and/or anxiety through the delivery of their psychodynamic and CBT models of counselling which has a wide application to a range of mental health issues which can include, depression, generalised anxiety disorder, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and social anxiety disorder. These benefits are evidenced in one of three ways (1) through regular feed back from their core group of counsellors with ongoing supervision by accredited supervisors (2) the counsellor will monitor and assess the client’s progress (or lack of progress) on a session to session basis (3) successful outcomes stem from clients recommendation to others who may derive a benefit from our counselling models of delivery. There is no apparent harm to any of our clients from the delivery of our counselling service. The Charity’s beneficiaries are any member of the general public in Northern Ireland. There is no private benefit flowing from the purpose.

TRM provides a therapeutic approach to those with emotional needs using talking therapies. This includes listening, psycho-dynamic counselling, CBT and therapeutic pastoral approach to the needs of the client.
