Public benefits
The direct benefit which flows from our purpose is the community gets to interact and work together to help enhance their quality of life and improve their feelings of well being. The community as a whole benefit through increased education, enjoyment of the arts and through participating in community activities this leads to reduced social
isolation and improves the local communities esteem and pride in the area. These benefits are demonstrated through attendance at our classes, feedback forms and feedback from funders. The carrying out of our purposes leads to no harm. There is no private benefit flowing from our purposes. The beneficiaries are the people of the Eglish and visitors to the area.
What your organisation does
Our organisation has been engaged in providing many facilities for local groups to come together and improve their quality of life. These have included organising computer classes, food and Hygiene courses, purchasing much needed sporting and play equipment for our local clubs and playgroup. We have run some very successful international days to
help our new comers to the area integrate. We also have an evening at Christmas where we have Santa and the turning on of our tree lights. We also organise pamper nights, flower arranging and provide our senior citizens with a social outing from time to time.
