Public benefits

Assembly Testimony magazine meets the principles of public benefit via the advancement of religion through the production, since the 1950’s, of a bi-monthly magazine, which is circulated as widely as possible free of charge to the general public. Direct benefits include an increase in the knowledge of God and His ways by an understanding of the

teachings of Holy Scripture and a practical encouragement of Godly, righteous and sober living. The benefits are evidenced through uptake; some 10,000 copies of each edition of the magazine are currently issued worldwide to those who have requested to receive the magazine. Current and archive copies of the magazine are also available without restriction to read and/or download from our website. There are no ‘harms’ resulting from carrying out the purpose. Neither the trustees nor the contributors to Assembly Testimony Magazine receive any financial remuneration or other private benefit and this will continue. In addition, Assembly Testimony Magazine does not contain any advertisements or generate any other revenue. Publication and distribution of Assembly Testimony Magazine and associated doctrinal books is presently, and will continue to be, supported entirely by freewill contributions.

Produces a bi-monthly magazine (and associated Christian doctrinal and Bible expository books) for distribution as widely as possible free of charge. The production of the bi-monthly magazine is the principal purpose, with the production of one new doctrinal and Bible expository book per year, which have been translated into Portuguese for

distribution free of charge in Brazil and Angola with arrangements under way for translation into Spanish for distribution free of charge to other countries in South America.

Charitable purposes

The Trustees shall use and permit to be used the Trust Assets for the continued production of the Magazine which shall be circulated as widely as possible free of charge with the intention that it shall: (a) Educate its readers in the basics of Christianity; (b) Instruct in the principles of Holy Scripture; (c) Give to its readers a knowledge of God and His ways; (d) Encourage Godly righteous and sober living; (e) Comfort and help the lonely, isolated and aged; and (f) Sustain those who seek to maintain Godliness in a time of lawlessness and moral decline.
