Public benefits

The direct benefits flowing from the purposes/objects of the Association are that people of all ages from the area of benefit would be able to participate in a range of positive community development, citizenship, educational , arts, culture, heritage, science and amateur sports activities currently not available to them. A further benefit would

be the building of community health and well-being, an increased awareness of good physical and mental health and a more active community. Direct benefits flowing from the purposes would also include increased participation of beneficiaries and further community engagement. A further benefit is public enjoyment through the provision of exhibitions, programmes, lectures , classes and other events The benefits will be demonstrated by the numbers participating in all organised activities and by regular feedback sessions from participants providing quantitative and qualitative measures None The inhabitants of the Cookstown area, Mid Ulster and particularly but not exclusively , the Community of Holy Trinity College, Cookstown The only private benefit flowing from these purposes is incidental and necessary as to those commercial organisations who may be engaged to produce events or exhibition materials, or to provide catering for such events if requested or to those commercial entities engaged with construction and/or maintenance of any facilities and equipment to meet the purposes. There are no other private benefits flowing from any of the purposes.

What your organisation does

The Association raises funds and invites/receives contributions from those interested in the objects. The Association organises a variety of capacity building programmes, training, meetings, lectures, classes, events , talks , seminars and exhibitions. The association promotes community participation in Community activity through donation of its

income to the provision of activities, facilities and equipment to meet its purposes and in particular to the community of the Holy Trinity college for educational purposes. Purpose/Object A – The Association will advance citizenship and community development by setting out to involve people of all ages and backgrounds in local community activity through the organisation of a variety of capacity building programmes, training, meetings, lectures, classes, events and exhibitions. They will also offer community based recreational and leisure facilities for use of the inhabitants of the area of benefit. Purpose/Object B – The Association will advance education by offering a series of educational programmes, lectures and classes and where appropriate will carry out local research, publishing reports and other books or documents relevant to their beneficiaries. It is anticipated that the community of The Holy Trinity College will take a special interest in this. Purpose/Object C – The association will offer a range of activities and classes linked to the arts, culture and the heritage and science relevant to the community and the area of benefit Purpose/Object D – The Association will carry out this purpose by organising talks, classes, seminars , sessions and events with the purpose of maintaining good physical health, looking after mental health, healthy eating and other well-being health related topics of interest to their beneficiaries within the area of benefit. Purpose/Object E – The Association will organize and encourage participation in a range of amateur sport activities for the community
