What your organisation does

Teemore Regeneration Group was formed in December 2017 following a public engagement process initiated by the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council to ascertain the need and demand for a cross community group to promote the social, economic and physical regeneration of Teemore and surrounding area.

Charitable purposes

The Charity's objects are for the benefit of the public to promote community development and rural regeneration for the benefit of the inhabitants of Teemore and its environs (the area of benefit) without distinction of age, gender, sexual orientation, race ethnicity, political, religious or other opinion by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to: a) promote village regeneration and development by assisting in the design and implementation of community action plans b) relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage c) provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of the area of benefit d) promote good community relations, religious and racial harmony and equality and diversity; e) promote culture and heritage and raise awareness of local history; f) organise festivals and other community events g) promote such other charitable purposes as may from time time be determined
