Public benefits

The benefits which flow from the purpose of the Charity are: -immediate relief of extreme, local poverty (essential living costs such as heating and food etc.) paid to those identified as in need. -to assist those with emotional and psychological challenges through free counselling (Antrim Community Counselling) from a trained counsellor who is

registered with the BACP and has supervision. -community based Church (Truth Revealed Community Church Antrim), which offers spiritual support and growth through weekly services, Bible studies (SALT Ministry NI), home groups, and quarterly community worship services (The Gathering). The overall aim of the charity and ministries within, is to reach out into the wider community, offering support, love and encouragement as meets the ethos of the charity. The charity will be asking for feedback from the organisations we will be working with which will inform us of who received the benefit, and what were the circumstances that triggered a small cash payment to be made to the beneficiary and what positive effect it had on their circumstances, (there will be criteria set in place in consultation with the organisations we will be working with that will explore the possibility of a cash payment being paid out- we will ask for regular feedback and tracking of all those who have met this criteria. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes The charity's beneficiaries are those in extreme, local poverty. There is no private benefit flowing from any of the purposes.

What your organisation does

By working in consultation with other regulated bodies as well as self-referrals, we aim to identify specific local poverty, counselling needs, and spiritual development, by offering financial assistant, counselling support and pastoral care to those in need through grants and voluntary donations to the charity. Although the charity was formed by

Christians and has a Christian committee, we, the committee, are committed to reaching out to all the community without bias or religious intent (the counselling offered for example is person-centered which focusses upon the counselees issues rather than the counsellors life beliefs), with the aim of bringing love and support where needed in the various contexts we find ourselves, through the ministries mentioned in the public benefits.
